OUR STORY

Built on dogs.
Proven in the field.

A family-run operation with a straightforward belief: do things properly, make every experience count and never settle for “good enough.”

THE STORY BEHIND THE STANDARD

Shaped by experience.
Grounded in purpose.

A genuine sporting life.

Double “B” Kennels was built around a love for German Shorthaired Pointers and the tradition of hunting behind a truly versatile dog. That foundation continues to shape the way we breed, train and guide.

We believe professionalism should never come at the expense of personality. The best experiences are both polished and genuine.

We develop our German Shorthaired Pointers as versatile hunting partners. The reward goes beyond birds in the bag—it is watching a capable dog work with confidence and purpose.

That belief guides the work: developing the dog, supporting the handler and preparing both for the moments when it all comes together.

THE PARTNERSHIP IN THE FIELD

Brian Senick

Brian’s connection with dogs began at age seven. Today, the German Shorthaired Pointer’s intelligence, versatility and loyalty are at the heart of his work.

He values the challenges and breakthroughs of training as much as the finished work in the field. Helping owners understand their dogs and handle them with confidence is equally rewarding.

THE PERSPECTIVE BEHIND THE PROGRESS

Tanja Washburn

Tanja brings a lifelong love of animals and the outdoors, together with experience in coaching, emotional intelligence and business management.

She approaches each dog as an individual, recognizing its personality and the way it learns. Patience, encouragement and thoughtful adjustments help her develop the potential in each dog.

Thoughtful coaching.
Individual attention. Lasting progress.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Quiet confidence.
Measured progress.

UNDERSTANDING

Know the individual.

Strong working relationships begin with reading the dog in front of you and responding with clarity and purpose.

PREPARATION

Give progress purpose.

Each step builds on the last, strengthening the foundation for lasting understanding and progress.

PARTNERSHIP

Build something that lasts.

A capable dog and a confident handler build a partnership that brings lasting satisfaction, in the field and beyond.
